The day should have something for all levels of coaching. Ron Smith returns to continue his comprehensive study findings on how goals are scored and the patterns leading to what the game is all about!!!
5 of our local coaches will present in 15 minute segments, a snap shot of each of their highly successful 2017 season so we can compare what were the key factors across different levels of FFV competitions.
AFCAT member Emanuel Saakai will again inspire us with his work with Lengo, the academy he has created in Tanzania for street kids and orphans and his incredible invitation to not only attend the prestigious FIFA Confederation Cup in Russia in July 2017 but to address delegates with his words of inspiration.
Prior to lunch, our very own Harry Bingham, will bring to our attention a study showing the make up of European Academies and the challenges they face even with huge budgets.
After lunch, another AFCAT member and elite coach, Luciano Trani, will share a recent visit overseas with us, then finish the day with a practical session on the High Press and how to defend against it. Prior to this though it would not be an AFCAT seminar without watching Ron Smith doing his magic on the ground- even after a recent hip replacement!!!!!! Ron will conduct a practical session very much geared to coaches who have limited space at their club and show us some practical ideas to be able to still conduct a quality training session.
So there you have it. A full day with something for everyone.
We will also bring you more exciting news on the plans leading to the formation of a national coaches association which is being lead by AFCAT in conjunction with FFA.
Registration details will be live on the AFCAT website at www.afcat.com.au from November 1st.
